Contributers
Hello poets, musicians, artist and countrymen,
We just wanted to provide some information on how poet’s can contribute to the narrative. We at Cabal Ink Magazine want to invite guest poet’s to contribute to the narrative each issue. As poet’s we tend to do our work in a box without any real social vehicle to reach people. We built a social site so that we can break down the barriers poets have become used too.
We are a bi-monthly publication published beginning in February. Our productions involve audio and typed versions of a selection. If you wish to contribute there are a few things you should know:
- Contributers who wish to share their work for consideration may contact us at author@cabalink.com. Send us your audio, jpg, gif, png, video, word or pdf. With your name and blog or website, so we can list your contributions on the site. We will review to see if it fits in the issue’s theme. Depending on the amount of submissions we receive select ones will be chosen for their content.
- Our site focuses on narrative poetry. So your content must involve the main narrative (which we create) and the subject matter for that issue. Entries not focused on the subject matter will be sent back.
- We do not pay for published works as we are a very small magazine.
- You own the rights to your work we do not take ownership of your written works. In fact you will be recognized as the contributor on each post that we publish with your content on it.
- You can request a license to create derivative of the works we create or have created by emailing us.
- Remember this is purely entertainment. All work here is fiction so some scenarios are not likely in the real world and may be impossible.
- If you wish to submit a piece and do not have access to recording equipment or background music. We can provide this for you. We own the rights to the music but not the poetry.
- We work with web-based tools to produce all the content. Some of it is free, others we pay for but they are all reasonably priced, even for a single individual. We will be posting a page soon with more info on that.
- Share! We built this site with an emphasis on sharing and doing high production value work. We work to share that work with the world. So sharing is central to what we do. As authors though we all aspire to earn a living. There are ways for us to share and make money together. We have a few ideas on how we could build that relationship. If you would like to be apart of that then by all means send us an email.
With a little luck we will produce a series of ground breaking works that many will cherish. We take pride in the fact that we can provide entertainment to people. Lets try to make this community unlike anything else seen on the web. One that has more to do with our passion for storytelling and poetry than our differences.
