About Cabal Ink

Cabal Ink is a bi-monthly poetry mag­a­zine ded­i­cated to sto­ry­telling and enter­tain­ment. Poetry is our lan­guage and in a dig­i­tal age where words mat­ter, we prac­tice the art of visual nar­ra­tives through words. While these skills may not be new, no one has ever made them cen­tral to a mag­a­zine before.

Cabal Ink is as much a poetry mag­a­zine, as it is a radio show. We pro­vide pod­casts and audio com­men­tary every other month to give our read­ers and lis­ten­ers mul­ti­ple ways to access the con­tent we pro­vide. Tech­nol­ogy has brought us great for­tune and we work hard every­day to make sure we are reach­ing out to you in the var­i­ous ways you can access con­tent from the web.

We hope by pro­vid­ing unique expe­ri­ences to our read­ers and lis­ten­ers that you will find per­spec­tive or maybe dis­cover a new writer you never heard or read before. Since much of poetry is about words and how to play with them. We thought it would be fun to not only twist the bound­aries of words but also the bound­aries of the nar­ra­tive as well. Much of the con­tent focuses on every­thing from the mun­dane to the fantastic.

But trust us, with such a wide range of sub­ject mat­ter float­ing out there in the world today. There won’t be any­thing mun­dane about what we will be doing. We can’t sim­ply just right about sub­jects. We have to explore them. We cre­ate char­ac­ters and send those char­ac­ters out into the world of that sub­ject. We explore the tri­als they endure as they explore the new world we cre­ate for them. We push them to tempt fate time and time again to see the human effect on tragedy and tri­umph. These strings are woven together to build a uni­verse oth­ers can dis­cuss and engage in.

For us sto­ry­telling is prime to our over­all goal. To be engag­ing and enter­tain­ing. In that respect I hope all you across the world can appre­ci­ate the effort.
